Digital Campaign – June 2025

The humanity behind this tragedy cannot be ignored. Testimonies from survivors are heartbreaking and yet don’t tell the full story.

Let’s do our part, let’s take action for peace, justice and humanity.

F.A.Q.

Is the campaign still relevant, now that a peace deal has been signed?

The campaign aims to break down indifference and educate the world about the profound impact of the conflict so that this tragedy NEVER happens again.

Wearing the t-shirt or sharing the campaign means becoming  a transmitter of memory and an actor of peace.

Who initiated this campaign ?

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, two sisters, Ndaya Beltchika and Alix B. Dishueme, have decided to break the silence in the face of the violence in the eastern part of the country. Through this campaign, they aim to raise awareness, mobilize, and take action to end the atrocities. Raising awareness creates a surge of solidarity that gives hope to forgotten populations.

How can I be sure my purchase truly helps?

We will provide regular updates and a report will be made available 7 days after the conclusion of the campaign.

How will the funds be distributed?

The net proceeds will be equally distributed between Aldi International - DRC, Justice Plus and MSF - Eastern DRC. Three NGOs active in the conflit affected areas.

What’s the point of signing a petition?

Once a threshold of 100,000 signatures is reached, a petition can be submitted to parliaments and other institutions to prompt official government actions. It creates public pressure that pushes governments to act.  Petitions can build momentum for justice and reparation. NGOs or representatives of the D.R. Congo can also use the petition as proof of public support for their efforts.

How long will the campaign last?

The campaign will last 30 days, starting on June 30.
